About Otter Creek Stables
- Otter Creek Stables is a family owned and operated full service equestrian center, located just 15 minutes north of Cedar Rapids on hard surface road in rural Alburnett.
- Otter Creek Stables was designed from the ground up with one goal in mind: To create a safe and secure facility for both horse and owner. Extensive research in the areas of fencing, turf and nutrition management, ventilation, water systems, stall design, facility layout, manure management, arena footing , drainage, and disease control directed the ultimate facility design, layout and management philosophy.
- Our goal in creating a safe and secure environment for horse and rider was to encourage all breeds and welcomes all disciplines. We wish to welcome individuals and families seeking a comfortable environment to enjoy their individual and differing riding pleasures.
