Equine Facilities at Otter Creek
Otter Creek Stables provides a friendly and relaxing setting in which to enjoy time with your horse and family. Design of our facility, landscaping and management all contribute to a great experience. See for yourself.

  1. 40 acres spaciously used for stall barn, indoor riding area, pastures, holding pens, outdoor riding arena, training area and green space.
  2. Indoor Lighted Arena 70’x128’x16’, connected to stall barn.
  3. Six pastures and turnout areas totaling 30 acres.
  4. Three isolation pens to be used for studs, holding area, sick or recuperating horses.
  5. Outdoor riding arena 100’x220’ with excellent footing for general riding needs and safe fencing.
  6. 60’ round pen
  7. Stall barn 64’x84’x14’: Designed for easy access, use and servicing, this 15 stall barn provides a healthy and safe environment for your horse. Features include:
    • 15 stalls, sizes varying from 10’x10’ to 12’x12’ with rubber mats. All stalls on outside walls have windows and most stalls have mesh fronts.Otter Creek Indoor Training Arena
    • Heated bathroom with shower
    • 10’x10’ equine wash station with hot and cold water
    • 12 tack lockers 4’x4’x4’
    • 3 lockers 4’x4’x7’
    • Excellent air quality and natural lighting

  8. Hay Barn: 36’x48’x14’ building to store hay, bedding, grain and equipment.
  9. Pasture Barn: two 18’x24’ walk in sheds, spacious wood corrals/dry lots and 18’x24’ heated tack room.
  10. Nelson automatic waterers.
  11. Hitching rails at convenient locations
  12. Fencing in large areas is white coated high tensile wire with two hot wires. Small area fencing are 3 board non-chew 2”x6” wood. Pastures separated by a groomed bridle path for safety.
  13. Facility has extensive groomed green areas.
  14. Property has been tiled to reduce wet areas and improve pasture forage quality.
  15. Entire facility has been designed and built to meet Linn County’s zoning and codes for a public boarding facility.
